Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah and actress Yvonne Nelson have come under severe fire following the countless pressure they placed on President Akufo-Addo to issue a statement on the civil unrest ongoing in Nigeria.

This move by netizens to drag these two personalities in the mud comes in the wake of the social media rampage some Nigerians went on after President Akufo-Addo spoke on #EndSARS protest.

These Nigerians went under the comment section of the president and used all kinds on unprintable words on his person with the explanation that he (President Akufo-Addo) should have convinced Buhari to speak to them or better still remain mute and mind his business.

This sort of hostile reception that has greeted the solidarity message by Ghana’s president has got on the nerves of many netizens who are blaming Yvonne Nelson and Nana Aba Aanamoah for being the cause of what we are currently experiencing.

Many believe the message by President Akufo-Addo was never necessary but was done because he couldn’t withstand the pressure and call for him to speak which was aggressively pushed by these two celebrities.
