Ghanaian Gospel musician, Empress Gifty, and wife to the former member of parliament for Kpone Katamanso constituency, Hopeson Adorye has been chosen as the ambassador for Ghana’s Ministry of National Security’s terrorism awareness campaign.
The Ministry’s campaign dubbed “If You See Something, Say Something” is geared toward creating awareness for the Ghanaian populace to be wary of any threat that will jeopardize the country.
With this, Ghanaians are to act sensitively to issues that will tend to help the country from being attacked.
Empress Gifty accepting the ambassadorial role to champion the Ministry’s course appreciated the honor done by the Ministry.
According to her, it is the duty of every Ghanaian to participate in the ‘See Something, Say Something’ campaign to ensure that Ghana’s security is safeguarded.
Gifty also urged ordinary Ghanaians to partake in the campaign to help the security agencies detect threats that can plunge the country into chaos or potential war.
