One of America’s biggest female rapper, Nicki Minaj has revealed something about her past. In case, you did not know, before she became a big rapper in the game, she was just an ordinary waitress.
Nicki who is 32 recalls her hard times coming up in the music industry in the latest trailer for her MTV documentary My Time Again
“When I was a waitress we had to steal bread and eat that,” Minaj tells her dancers at a rehearsal.
The documentary is about the making of her latest album, The Pinkprint, a time she calls “an emotional roller coaster”
“No one could prepare for this business,” she says. “Until you are in it, you really can’t wrap your brain around it.”
“Every human needs to push themselves to the point of breaking sometimes,” she says at the end of the trailer. “If you never break, you never know how much pressure you can take.”
