Nicki Minaj has given Wiley the go-ahead to release their collaboration with Popcaan and Dyo.
The song “Bad Like We,” a collaboration between Wiley, Popcaan, and Nicki Minaj, will be published almost three years after UK rapper Wiley claimed that Drake was preventing its release.
Wiley also provided an explanation for why the song was first withheld.
Since the year began, Minaj has released six singles for her fans, and she has been on a roll. Her two Lil Baby films, “Blick Blick” with Fivio Foreign, “Super Freaky Girl,” and “Likkle Miss,” with Skeng Don, were all released last week. The rapper mentioned that her best Caribbean feature is still unreleased, prompting a response from Minaj, who indicated that the song will eventually be made public.
The Queen Radio rapper claims that after the song was leaked, she shut it down. She continued by saying she was ready to give the tune her approval for online streaming.
Wiley had previously claimed that Drake had stopped the tune, but it now appears that Minaj was the one to make the decision. She now claims that she is okay with it being made public.
“Love it but had to put a hold pon it. Don’t like when ppl leak di ting b4,” she explained. “I get to share it in my own way. But I’ll approve it now if he wanna throw it up on streaming services tell him it’s kool,” she added.
