Burna Boy has passionately appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure a free and fair election as collation gets underway after the presidential and National Assembly elections were healed on February 25.

Burna Boy implored INEC to resist becoming a tool for the rigging or manipulation of the 2023 election.
After being criticized by Nigerians who anticipated him and his colleagues to speak out in favour of calling for free and fair elections, he issued the warning via his social media page.
Burna said; “Let Nigeria decide o! @inecnigeria. No try any result magic”.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu has been officially recognized by INEC as the winner of the presidential race in Ekiti State.
At the State Collation Center in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday in the late afternoon, INEC Presiding Officer Akeem Lasisi revealed the outcome.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Tinubu’s main rival, received more than 25% of the ballots cast in the state with a total of 89,554 votes, while Mr Obi of the Labour Party received only 11,397 votes, falling short of the 25% threshold in the state.
To be proclaimed the winner of the presidential election, a candidate must receive the most votes cast overall and at least 25% of the vote in 25 states (including Abuja and two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states).
