It is quite surprising that a Nigerian will have to come and encourage us to play our own songs.

Anyway, taking to his Instagram page, Dammy Krane as stunned how Nigerian songs enjoy massive airplay in Ghana at the expense of songs composed by musicians in the country.

Dammy Krane wrote: “Naija music is being played more than Ghana music in Ghana ??, This must stop in 2020, the only Naija songs that should have such rotations are songs that features a Ghanaian. Every must balance well in 2020.”

It is  true that Ghanaians don’t support their own as Ghanaian actress Moesha Buduong was recently bashed on social media for saying that Nigerians produce better songs.

For a foreigner to come and remind us to play our own songs means we have failed as a country.
