Some Ghanaians including mainstream artists like Criss Waddle have stormed social media to express their displeasure about the apparent snub meted out to Ghanaian artiste at the recently held Global Citizen Festival in Ghana headlined by Usher.

Patrons at the event were treated to beautiful performances by artists from Ghana, Nigeria and the US some of whom include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Stormzy, Yaw Yog, Kwesi Arthur, SZN, Usher, Pheelz, and Tiwa Savage.

However, the talking point is centered on Usher who actually introduced three Nigerian musicians, including Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and Pheelz, to perform with him during the show.

Beyond that, the R&B legend took to social media to share photos from the Global Citizen, expressing his gratitude to Ghana and also performing with Tiwa Savage, Oxlade and Pheelz.

This sparked outrage on the Ghanaian landscape of social media as most music lovers believe Ghanaian artists deserve the spotlight more and not what transpired spearheaded by Usher.
