Organisers of Ghana Meets Naija Dropped Shatta Wale Because of Wizkid’s Appearance – Insider Hints

Most Ghanaians are not happy about dancehall artiste Shatta Wale missing out of this year’s Ghana Meets Naija concert happening on June 9 at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Right after announcing the tall list of artistes billed for this year’s show, the public took to social media to share their thought on the lineup and it is evident that they are not happy just because the ‘Dancehall King’ is not performing.

But according to movie producer and entertainment critic Ola Micheal, Shatta Wale was dropped from the list because Wizkid vowed never to appear on the stage if Shatta Wale is included.

 

If you could remember, in late 2017, Shatta Wale and Wizkid fans were embroiled in a series of social beef where Shatta Wale and his fans even vowed to attack Wizkid if he ever sets foot in Ghana. It all started when Shatta Wale had an interview on Kasapa FM, stating that he hardly considers Wizkid a superstar. Shatta Wale said:

“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste”.

Well, it appears Wizkid has not gotten over the beef Shatta Wale started with him even though he is yet to say something loud about it in the media.

So if Ola Micheal’s post is anything to go by, then Shatta Wale has been dropped because Wizkid demanded it. Ola Micheal made this revelation on his Facebook page. He Posted:
