Orlando Anderson biography and death
Orlando Anderson gained notoriety following his alleged involvement in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Hailing from Compton, California, in the United States, Anderson was born on August 13, 1974, to Harvey Lee Anderson and Charlotte Davis.
Due to his parents’ divorce during his early childhood, Anderson was raised by his grandparents. Despite these challenges, he excelled academically, consistently achieving high marks and effortlessly passing his examinations. Following his time at Taft High School, Anderson transferred to Dominguez High School for his senior year.
In a notable incident that occurred in 1996, Trevon Lane, a member of the Death Row gang, had his medallion snatched from him. During the same year, Trevon coincidentally encountered Anderson at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, where he promptly informed Tupac and the remaining members of the Death Row crew that Anderson was the individual responsible for the theft of his medallion.
Subsequently, following the unfortunate shooting of Tupac Shakur, violent clashes between the Bloods and Crips erupted in Compton. According to BG Knocc Out, a close associate of Anderson, he sustained gunshot wounds to his legs from an AK-47 during the altercation, resulting in a period of wheelchair confinement.
Greg Kading, a former LAPD detective who worked on the murder investigation involving Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace, wrote a book in October 2011 that contained accusations against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to Kading’s book, Combs allegedly paid Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who also happens to be Anderson’s uncle, $1 million to murder Shakur and Knight. Both Kading and Davis claim that Anderson was in the car parked next to the BMW where Tupac was tragically shot. Davis further asserted that Anderson was the one who fired the shots that finally killed Tupac in a taped chat with Kading.
According to Keefe D’s testimony, there might have been four people in the white Cadillac that approached the BMW in which Knight and Shakur were on the night of the incident. All of these accounts concur that Anderson sat in the Cadillac’s back seat and shot Shakur to death by leaning out the back window. On the other hand, Kading and Philips allege that the Crips gang members were given a $1 million bounty to kill Shakur and Knight.
