Pastor who beheaded wife remanded

According to a TV3 report the pastor of True Redemption Church at Assin Breku, Yaw Owusu, who is standing trial for beheading his wife, has been remanded.

He is expected to reappear at the Assin Fosu Magistrate Court on Tuesday, October 25.

Recall that the police detained the man of God, Yaw Owusu, 55 on suspicion of killing his wife Victoria Owusu, 51, popularly known as Nana Bruwaa.

He was accused of killing Victoria Owusu, his wife, who had been beheaded and whose lifeless body was discovered in a bush.

The suspect, who is alleged to have travelled to the farm with the deceased wife, refuted the claim that she went with him.

Some locals claimed that the suspect was lying because there was proof that the suspect’s wife had gone to the property with him to work on his cocoa farm.
