President Akufo-Addo will be delivering his 22nd address to the nation on government’s steps taken to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. However, Ghanaians are pushing for a total lockdown.

The push for a total lockdown comes on the back of the surge in numbers of Coronavirus cases in Ghana in recent days.

Meanwhile, schools at various levels will be reopening on Monday and as the cases rise, it has become imperative for President Akufo-Addo to do something about the situation.

Ghana’s Coronavirus cases at the moment are outlined below:

Total cases – 56,981

Active Cases – 1,404

Total Deaths – 341

Recoveries – 55,236
