President Akufo-Addo will be delivering his 22nd address to the nation on government’s steps taken to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. However, Ghanaians are pushing for a total lockdown.
The push for a total lockdown comes on the back of the surge in numbers of Coronavirus cases in Ghana in recent days.
Currently, Ghana’s coronavirus situation has begun to deteriorate as many citizens fail to adhere to the safety protocols of mask-wearing and hand washing. This has led to heightened fear amongst citizens who believe they are being infected by people who fail to adhere to the protocols.
Meanwhile, schools at various levels will be reopening on Monday and as the cases rise, it has become imperative for President Akufo-Addo to do something about the situation.
