The two big political parties NPP & NDC are currently at each other’s throats as they are both claiming to be the winners of the elections.

Reacting to this, award winning broadcast Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has called on the EC Chairman, Madam Jean Mensah to come out and speak to Ghanaians to reduce the tension.

It’s been almost 48 hours after Ghanaians went to the polls to cast their votes for their various parties. The results coming in is a conflicting as one can’t decide which party is in the lead. This has caused both the NDC and NPP to come out with various Press releases to claim victory.

Well, as long as the EC Chairman has not confirmed anything, both parties cannot claim total victory. Manasseh however believes the only way to reduce the unrest in the country is by releasing the certified results she has received from various polling stations. He added that her silence breeds suspicion.
