They stopped some of you from collecting your eyes (pardon my direct twi to english translation) Last week was an exciting one for most young people, when two s8x tapes leaked on social media especially Whatsapp. The video as described by those who watched it, was a doggy punking of two teens, a boy and a girl. One of the videos, in which two of the young teens, who had mutual agreement to bang each other, are said to be the children of two prominent people in Society, the son of Hannah Tetteh and the girl daughter of the vice chancellor of the university of Ghana. The video was indeed blocked by Whatsapp because both sexees were children.
A source close to the ministry confirmed that the boy turned 17 this April and the girl is indeed 15 as alleged earlier. Well, am not surprised, they are children of rich parents and are well fed, they do not eat gari like me, do they?
Adom News can confirm that a Ghanaian resident in the US made a formal complaint to Whatsapp, citing a violation of the Federal Laws and California State laws on child pornography.
Whatsapp is registered to do business in California and is therefore bound by both California State laws and US Federal Laws.
The US Federal Law considers child porn as child exploitation. It defines child pornography as “any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (persons under 18 years of age). Images of child pornography are also referred to as child sexual abuse images.
It also states that “Federal law prohibits the production, distribution, importation, reception, or possession of any image of child pornography. A violation of federal child pornography law is a serious crime, and convicted offenders face severe statutory penalties.”
Meanwhile, Ghana’s own Children’s Act, Act 560, 1998 is not very clear on what constitutes child pornography, and what the consequences are there for offenders. The law only came as close as protecting children from an environment where prostitution is practiced [Section 18 (i and j)].
But under the US Federal Law, even those who received that video, and those who still have copies of it stored on any devices, are guilty of child exploitation.
The bad news is although the video was blocked, some hackers have been able to hack whatsapp and altered the algoritms of the video to make it distributable again. Hackers always want to prove a point, and if whatsapp had not intervened, am sure the news would have been a dead one by now because, in Ghana, if your case comes, it’s talked about like whuuuuu and then it dies. Don’t you remember the Woyome, gargatuan and tweaa days? Maybe, you won’t be sharing the video for long, becasue the dude has filed another complaint to Whatsapp.
We all thought it was the telcos who had blocked the video based on on “orders from above” but it turns out they don’t even know how to do it.
It’s soo good i never got to watch it because, each time i tried to press play, i felt Jesus was watching me and i ask myself ” Will Jesus do this? So don’t be in a rush to watch child porn, if you love watching stuff like that, just go watch Game of Thrones, it’s way better.
