Seyi Shay Finally Gives Details To Her Fight With Tiwa Savage After Making Peace

Popular Nigerian songstress, Seyi Shay has finally addressed the heated argument she had with colleague singer, Tiwa Savage at a solon in Lagos.

Recall the two were caught in a video which surfaced online in June 2021 as Tiwa and Seyi Shay were having a heated altercation.

In the video, Tiwa Savage told Seyi Shay to stay off her path and accused her of having a dirty and disgusting spirit hence wouldn’t want to have an encounter with her.

According to Seyi Shay, she walked up to her to make peace hence decided to say hi when she met her at the salon Which she responded well.

She added that she was shocked as Tiwa Savage meet her 20 minutes later and told her never to greet her in public.

The two have made peace now but in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Seyi Shay has noted that if not that she has changed the fight would have turned something different.

She said, “Guess what? If I had not spent a good couple of years finding my center, my peace, bringing myself up to a different vibration, praying and fasting, sitting my ass in the studio pouring out my heart, trust me the outcome (with Tiwa Savage) would have been very different”

Hinting on how she approached her age wrote, “It was a hello and some minutes later it was a different thing, with was shocking to me you know, at the same time everybody is in a different place in their lives and everybody is going through something but then you say ‘hi’ to somebody no matter what the history is or whatever you expect either ‘don’t talk to me ‘ or a ‘hi’ back but this circumstance was very different but it wasn’t a mistake, everything that happened was supposed to happen.”
