Reggae/Dancehall artist, Stonebwoy’s nomination into the 2017 Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards came as a mixed feeling among his colleague musicians in Ghana.
While some are expressing feelings of positivity for the artiste including Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese and Others, his greatest rival in the person of Shatta Wale is indirectly facing headache per his Facebook post yesterday (May 15, 2017).
Charles Nii Armah Mensah in the person of Shatta Wale wrote on Facebook: “My B.E.C.E certificate sef ano know where edeh..Then we deh come worry about BET…#Money deh call me for my brain….”
Indeed, this response came from Shatta Wale as music lovers in the country were making fun of him for his BET 2017 nomination snub. Realistically, Shatta Wale has become a household name in Ghana over the years, therefore some believe 2017 should have been his turn to get nominated putting aside his endless fight with Charter House Ghana, the organisers of Ghana Music Awards.
As people keep asking why Shatta Wale fails to get nomination especially his die-hard-SM fans, he says none of his fans should worry himself over BET nomination because he’s more passionate about getting money not BET nomination.

Well, does it show a sign of envy or he’s talking about reality. Let’s see how Stonebwoy will react to this from the camp of Shatta Wale. Notwithstanding, Shatta Wale is the type of artiste who is basically in the Ghanaian music for money as he constantly preach about that. He’s of the view that he has seen ace musicians who made all the name for themselves, but died in poverty.
