Just like many Ghanaians who have greeted Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a cacophony of noises, Stonebwoy has emerged to speak his mind.
In a fresh post sighted on his Twitter page, Stonebwoy accused the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of corruption, citing the omission of some key players as the bases of his rant.
He suggested that some players were snubbed because they did not ‘Pay to Play.’
He wrote on Twitter: “There are players who are supposed to be in the squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay @ghanafaofficial why?”
Included in Otto Addo’s 26-man squad are Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Baba Rahman, Alexander Djiku, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, and Daniel Amartey.
Danlad Ibrahim and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh are the only players extracted from the Ghana Premier League, while Salis Abdul Samed and Kamal Sowah are making their debut for the team.
