Ghana’s celebrity pastor, Emmanuel Badu Kobi who once posited that he will never give car to a poor person is in the news again with another bombshell. The man of God who’s popularly known for giving out fleet of cars to popular figures at the expense of the needy has advised ladies to shun proposals coming from poor bachelors.

According to the leader and founder of Glorious Wave Ministry, women who marry poor men do so out of ignorance adding that such practice should not be entertained. Prophet Kobi voiced his perception in an interview with Accra-based Agoo TV, that men are supposed to be the head of their families, therefore, they must be financially sound in order to provide for the family.
“Every man is the head of the family and as a head; you must provide everything for the family. If a man is not financially sound, he must not even dream of entering into a relationship specifically marriage.”

He continued that, women are precious and must be kept as such, adding that, the increasing rate of divorce in the country is because women make the wrong choices in choosing a husband.
“How can you marry a man who can’t feed you three times a day? Women are there to serve and not otherwise, so I urge every woman to be a servant and not a slave”, he said.

More importantly, Prophet advised bachelors yearning to marry someday to gym their pockets before going in for someone’s daughter to marry. To him, it’s absolutely wrong for a woman to accept marriage proposal from a man who cannot afford three square meals a day.
