The lockdown forced me to write my ‘Forever’ hit song – Gyakie reveals

Young and brilliant Ghanaian female Afrobeats musician Gyakie Acheampong has revealed the circumstance which forced her to write her ‘Forever’ song.

She disclosed that her hit song, “Forever,” was penned during the lockdown period which was imposed following the first two cases which were recorded in March 2020.

It appears the outbreak of the deadly disease and the lockdown imposed benefited certain artists, particularly Ghanaian artists, by bringing out the best in them.

In a tweet, Gyakie wrote;

“I’ll Definitely Share A Playlist Of The Songs I Made During Quarantine Before The Year Ends. Forever Was One Of Those Ones Though”
