Jack Dorsey, Twitter co-founder has stepped aside as the Chief Executive Officer of the social media company.
The multi-billion dollar company was founded by Jack in the year 2006, since then he has been leading the company as the CEO including the digital payment company, Square.
Since then he has been persuaded to step aside by one of Twitter’s stakeholders, billionaire investor, Paul Singer, and Elliott Management.
Reports coming up on Monday, November 29th reveals that Jack has resigned as Twitter CEO, in the process their shares rise to 11%
The business mogul confirmed the report in a tweet he shared on a micro-blogging platform.
Taking to Twitter Jack Dorsey wrote, “not sure anyone has heard but, I resigned from Twitter”.
Dorsey will be replaced by Chief Technology Officer(CTO), Parag Agrawal.
The company said Dorsey will step down but will remain on board until Twitter’s stakeholder meeting in 2022.
