President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour affectionately called Obour for a while now is being chastised from all angles by musicians and music patrons in Ghana for allegedly squandering the Union’s money.
Obour’s woes were heightened when the public heard he claims to have used GH¢2 million given to the association by Former President Mahama on research.
Many have criticised him for these actions and he has equally defended himself on countless number of platforms just to whitewash the ‘black’ perception people have developed about his administration. It was on this that Akoo Nana, a hiplife artist descended on Obour for spending the Union’s money extravagantly on himself and his family abroad neglecting the ‘rotten’ state of Ghana’s Music Industry.
It’s on this same agenda that Akoo Nana dropped a video to uncover MUSIGA’s ‘rotten’ studio. Afterwards, it was alleged that Obour filed for the arrest of the musician in question for allegedly taking pictures.
In a new twist, Akoo Nana has released a diss song titled “Where De Money Dey”. A critical analysis of the lyrical content of the song talks about the alleged GH¢2 million embezzlement of funds of MUSIGA by Obour. A such, he’s requesting for the evidence of the whopping GH¢2 million used for research as revealed by Obour, the bad-shaped studio where musicians can rehearse, et al.
