Luis Suarez has asked Ghanaians to move on because he owes them no apology in relation to his infamous “hand of God” that denied Ghana a historic semi-finals berth at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

In a press conference ahead of their do-or-die affair with the Black Stars in the last Group H match at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, an unapologetic Suarez said he did what he had to defend his country.

He justified his unsportsmanlike behaviour by insisting that the referee punished him by sending him off and giving a penalty to the Ghanaians.

According to the former Liverpool and Barcelona star, Ghanaians should rather blame Asamoah Gyan for missing the spot kick and not him.
