Steven Fiawoo aka Praye Tietia of Praye fame has urged people from the Volta Region, a region that is known to be the stronghold of the opposition party, to vote against the party and its flagbearer in the December polls.
According to him, the party has not served the people of the region with any developments although they have governed Ghana more than any other party.
Speaking in favour of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Praye Tietia advised Voltarinas to have a mind shift and appreciate the social interventions like Free Senior High School (SHS) programme and other policies implemented by the party and vote massively for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
According to him, it is high time, the people of the Volta Region changed their voting pattern and be realistic with what is happening in the country irrespective of their political colourization and history.
Praye Tietia made this call on Wednesday during the group’s performance at NPP presidential candidate President Akufo-Addo’s three-day campaign tour of the Volta Region.
President Akufo-Addo is on a three-day campaign tour of the Volta Region where he is selling his message to residents in a frantic bid to get them to vote for him and the NPP especially when the region is known widely for voting in one direction, that is for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
