Who was Ethan Chapin?
Ethan Chapin, 20, was one of three children; his parents, Maizie, and Hunter survive him. Last August, all three triplets enrolled at the University of Idaho.
Chapin was a first-year member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and majored in sports management. He was dating Xana Kernodle, age 20.
He was from Conway, Washington, and played basketball at Mount Vernon High School.
Ethan Chapin death
On the evening of November 12, Kernodle and Chapin had attended a Sigma Chi fraternity party on the University of Idaho campus from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Around 1.45 am on November 13, the young couple returned to the King Road residence that Kernodle, Mogen, and Goncalves shared with two other female students.
The four victims were all fatally stabbed at around three or four in the morning, and their bodies were left undetected for a number of hours.
Even now, three weeks after the killings, there is still almost a five-hour delay between when Kernodle and Chapin were last seen at the fraternity house party and when they returned to the residence where they were attacked.
Who are Ethan Chapin parents and siblings?
Following Ethan’s passing, Stacy and Jim Chapin publicly expressed their profound sorrow. describing Ethan’s family before revealing that he was a triplet. As one of three triplet siblings born on October 28, 2022, he had one sister, Maizie Chapin, and one brother, Hunter Chapin.
The same school served as the final stop for both of Ethan Chapin’s siblings’ educations. Additionally, they are finishing their degrees at the University of Idaho. However, they are both in excruciating pain as a result of Chapin’s passing and will always grieve their brother Ethan.
Other than this, Ethan’s mother has previously worked at Aberdeen School as a teacher. Western Washington University awarded a master’s degree to Stacy Wells Chapin.
