Ghanaian broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah is questioning the Electoral Commission (EC) over the constant changing of the 2020 election figures on their website.
This concern is being raised by her after the EC published the 2020 election results on their results but are changing it every now and then.
Reference can be made to when the EC boss Jean Mensa declared the final results for the presidential election and later came back to correct the figures and apologized to Ghanaians for the mistake.
Why do you keep changing figures on your website @ECGhanaOfficial ?

This and other issues have given the opposition party NDC a lot of reasons to doubt the authenticity of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary election results which had their leader John Dramani Mahama say he is not gonging to accept the results of a ‘flawed’ election.
Meanwhile, there have been pockets of disturbances, protests and demonstrations recorded across Ghana where some supposed supporters of the NDC are demonstrating against the 2020 presidential and parliamentary election results as declared by the EC.
Some of the responses to Nana Aba Anamoah’s concern are as follows:
@MotherGhana4eva wrote: Jean Mensa pre-recorded the video with the figures… got caught on the video saying ‘good afternoon’ twice even though video was supposedly live at night, now they are trying to back track the results to match their ideal figures… oh wait there’s more fraud in the equation
@SharifLarryArt wrote: NDC should go to Court and wasting our time with press conferences. Press conference will not change any decisions The EC made
@MBanks133 wrote: When u use a certain measurement to sew a dress and it ends up not fitting and needs alteration, the initial measurements will definitely have to be changed. That is what we are witnessing right now. Cooked figures can never fit perfectly into an equation.
@EsselFrancisGh wrote: Good observations from you madam. This elections was not credible. Akofo addo is a mistake president elect. Forever he shall be untill the best is done.
@ApeaQuame wrote: maybe it’s because during the announcement on 9th Dec they made it clear that certain places were excluded and even if all should go to the NDC they still can’t reach the 50% + 1 vote..
