Wode Maya, a well-known YouTuber from Ghana, has had his channel hacked. He received word of his account being hacked late on Thursday, February 23.
According to a google search, a hacker going by the handle “Microstrategy” has taken control of his channel, which has over 1 million followers.
The channel has been completely empty since all of the videos were removed. Although the well-known YouTuber has not yet commented on the situation, those of his fans who have taken notice are ardently hoping for the channel to be reinstated.
One of the most well-known YouTube stars from Ghana is Wode Maya, real name Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon. The 32-year-YouTube old’s vlogs that advocate for Africa have had such a profound effect on people’s lives.
He began vlogging about his experiences while still a student in China and eventually left his profession as an aeronautical engineer. He established his own real estate business in December 2021 under the name “CHARLIEMAG Estate,” which will be based in East Legon.
He was one of six well-known YouTubers from around the world selected to cover the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in 2023. Also, he was invited to cover the Munich Security Conference in 2023.
