Maverick Politician and NPP MP for Assin North Hon. Kenedy Agyepong has fired salvos at senior members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) branding them as ingrates and ungrateful following comments by the latter in relation to the organization of the funeral of the late President Rawlings.
A deputy General Secretary of the NDC Peter Boamah Otukunor described as poor and disappointing the funeral claiming it could have been better organized had the NPP involved the NDC in the planning processes.
Anita Desoso a former women’s Organiser of the party had decried the unfortunate sidelining of Ewe chiefs resulting in their subsequent boycott of the funeral arrangements.
But Hon. Kenedy Agyepong claims the sentiments expressed by the NDC are least unfortunate and divisive.
He stated that he was very disappointed about the way members of the NDC are speaking against the funeral arrangements,” they are ungrateful and what they are doing shows they just want to sabotage the program.
“This is a complete state Burial to honor the late President Jerry John Rawlings and you are arguing about the program being poor. They are talking without any good reasons which don’t show respect to the memory of the late President”.He added
